During the height of the spiritualism movement, a reverend Eliakim Phelps moved his family to a new home in Stratford, Connecticut. Intrigued by the idea of talking to the dead with seances, Phelps decided to give it a try. The act opened the door to the other side, allowing spirits to inhabit his home and target his children.
